British Wheelchair Basketball are looking towards the Commonwealth Games and want to inform you that from Monday 12th April 2021 a Parent/Grandparent Nationality pop-up will appear on the Playwaze Portal. This pop-up will ask you the following question:
Do any of your Parents/Grandparents have any of the following nationalities (for the purposes of Commonwealth Games Athlete Eligibility):
- English
- Northern Irish
- Scottish
- Welsh
- I opt out of providing this information and do not want this information to be used to inform eligibility for the Commonwealth Games or Talent Pathway
In order for you to continue using the functions within the Playwaze portal, you will need to answer the above question. This will be the only time you are asked this question.
The information requested may, in line with our Data Privacy Policy be shared with the following categories of third party organisations for the purposes set out below:
High Performance Sector Stakeholders – to support the development and selection of athletes on programme and on competition as they progress through their home country and GB talent pathways – this might include the sharing of data with (but not limited to) Commonwealth Games England, Basketball Scotland, Disability Sport Northern Ireland, Disability Sport Wales, UK Sport, British Paralympic Association (BPA), International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF).
