People in the UK say that the pandemic will lead to a boost in community spirit – As we approach the anniversary of the first lockdown, our UK-wide survey of over 7,000 adults shows that almost half think community spirit will be better in the long-run following the pandemic, with 46% saying that COVID will have a positive impact on the amount people care about others.

A warm welcome to our new Chair We’re delighted to welcome Blondel Cluff CBE as the new Chair of the Board. She joins us at an important time for communities and will lead us as we support people across the UK to continue to thrive thanks to National Lottery players.
