Happy International Day of People with Disabilities!
The theme for this year is “not all disabilities are visible”. We wanted to take the opportunity to shine a light on invisible impairments so our next ParalympicsGB+1 instalment follows Tom Hamer’s story.
Tom competes in the S14 classification for swimmers with intellectual impairments. In this episode, he chats about how he found school tough but now loves what he does and how he’s excited by the growth of the Paralympic movement.
