HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE SPORT? I was approached, by someone called Phil who was collecting for Cardinels Wheelchair Basketball Club, at the local Morrisons store near to where I live.
SPORTING HEROES/HEROINES: Hannah Cockcroft MBE, Harry Brown, Tom Daily, The Brownlee brothers.
GREATEST SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT: Winning the development league at Stoke Mandeville.
FAVOURITE TV SHOW: Too many to mention, but I did get to go watch the filming of the reboot of Gladiators and that, was brilliant to watch, if you watch the first series on BBC iPlayer and watch the first, quarter final you’ll see me with one of my sisters and a friend of ours.

POSITION/S PLAYED: Well retired !! Played left side defence ‘ Back in the day ‘ I wasn’t good enough at scoring baskets !!
HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE SPORT? When the Cardinals were formed they broke away from Bradford Bears BBC and needed a spare player! An old mate tracked me down and as soon as I used a sport chair for the first time I was hooked on it
SPORTING HEROES/HEROINES: A local amateur rugby league bloke called Dilwyn Lewis who I learned loads from coaching, and grew in confidence and technique from him.
GREATEST SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT: Won the odd local wheelchair tennis but receiving the MBE tops those !!
FAVOURITE TV SHOW: Good detective shows, Only Fools and Horses and good comedy in general

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE SPORT? Inspired to exercise more to manage my pain and fatigue and was looking for an outlet for my frustrations, I had a go on a disability sport have a go day, and havent looked back since.
